BingX Registration Guide 2026: Create an Account Step by Step

Creating a BingX account takes about three minutes. Getting it right, meaning the referral code is bound, two-factor authentication is on, and you know what to do when the verification email doesn't turn up, takes a few more. This guide covers the web and app flows side by side, points out the one field you cannot fix afterwards, and then walks through the sensible first steps: KYC, 2FA and a first deposit.

Before you start

Three things to check before opening the form.

Your country. BingX does not accept users from the USA (including territories), the United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, the Netherlands, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, mainland China, or sanctioned jurisdictions such as Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Afghanistan and Myanmar. The registration page may not stop you, but identity verification will, and by then you might have deposited. If you're in one of those places, this isn't the exchange for you and no workaround is worth a frozen balance.

Your referral code. If you want the 20% trading fee rebate, the code has to go in during registration. There is no field to add it afterwards and support will not backfill it. The full explanation and the maths are in the referral code guide; the short version is: use the invite link, and check the field before you submit.

Your email provider. Some corporate and privacy-focused mail hosts block automated verification emails. A mainstream provider you control (Gmail, Outlook, Proton, iCloud) avoids the most common registration failure.

Registering on the web

1. Go to the BingX signup page through the invite link. Confirm the address bar shows bingx.com before typing anything; phishing clones of exchange login pages are common.
2. Choose Email (recommended) or Phone at the top of the form. Email is easier to keep across country moves and carrier changes; you can add a phone number later for SMS codes.
3. Enter your email address and set a password. BingX requires 8+ characters with mixed case and a number. Use a password manager and make it unique to this account; exchange credentials are a high-value target.
4. Find the Referral code field. On the current web form it sits beneath the password field and is sometimes collapsed behind a small "Referral code (optional)" link. Click to expand it. It should already contain PENDING if you used the invite link. If it's blank, type the code in manually.
5. Tick the terms checkbox and click Create account.
6. BingX sends a 6-digit verification code to your email. Enter it within the time limit (usually 10 minutes). If nothing arrives, see the troubleshooting section further down before requesting a resend more than once.
7. You're in. The first thing to do is confirm the referral binding: open Profile (top right avatar) → Referral and check the status reads "bound" or shows the referrer. If it says no referrer, the code didn't take. That cannot be fixed on this account.

Registering in the app

The app flow is the same in substance with a slightly different layout. Get the app from the App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android; the app download guide covers the APK route for Android users whose region store doesn't list it.

1. Open the app and tap Sign up on the welcome screen (or Profile → Sign up if you're on the market view).
2. Choose Email or Phone. Same advice as above: email.
3. Enter your email and password.
4. Scroll to the Referral code field on the same screen. If you installed the app from the invite link on the same device, it's usually pre-filled. If you typed the app store search yourself, it won't be, so enter PENDING manually.
5. Tap Sign up, then enter the email verification code.
6. Verify the referral binding under Profile → Rewards Hub or Referral before you go any further.

One quirk: if you tap an invite link on mobile and it opens the web signup in a browser rather than the app, that's fine. Register there, then log in to the app afterwards. The referral binding is on the account, not the device.

Set up two-factor authentication

Do this before you deposit. BingX supports Google Authenticator (TOTP) and SMS. Use the authenticator app; SMS is vulnerable to SIM-swap attacks and is slower.

1. Go to Profile → Security (web) or Profile → Security settings (app).
2. Select Google Authenticator → Enable.
3. Install Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password or another TOTP app if you don't have one.
4. Scan the QR code, or copy the secret key into the app manually.
5. Write down the secret key (the 16- or 32-character string) and store it offline. If you lose your phone without this, recovery goes through a manual support process with ID checks that takes days.
6. Enter the 6-digit code from your app plus the email verification code to confirm.
7. While you're in Security, also enable the anti-phishing code: a short word that BingX includes in every genuine email so you can spot fakes.

Once 2FA is on, withdrawals, API key creation and security changes all require the authenticator code. There's also a 24-hour withdrawal lock after some security changes; that's a feature, not a bug.

First steps after signup

Complete KYC

An unverified account can log in and look at charts, but withdrawal limits are low and most rewards tasks are locked. Basic KYC needs a government photo ID and a selfie; approval is usually minutes to a few hours. Advanced KYC adds proof of address and unlocks higher limits and the deposit-linked bonus tiers. The KYC guide lists accepted documents and the reasons submissions get rejected (glare on the ID, a name that doesn't match the account, an expired document).

Claim what's actually claimable

The Rewards Hub will show the new-user tasks behind the "5,685+ USDT welcome gift": a registration reward (30 USDT max), a deposit reward (500 USDT max), a trading reward (500 USDT max) and further deposit-and-trading tiers. The registration reward needs nothing beyond KYC and a click. The rest have conditions, including a minimum deposit of 200 USDT for the deposit tier, and payouts are largely futures trial funds rather than cash. Make a first deposit

Go to Assets → Deposit, choose the coin (USDT is the usual choice) and the network. The network matters: pick one your sending wallet or exchange supports, and prefer a cheap one. Copy the deposit address from BingX, paste it at the sender, and double-check the first and last four characters. Sending on the wrong network is the most common way people lose a deposit, and recovery is not guaranteed.

Optional: try the demo account

BingX has a demo (paper) trading account with virtual funds. If you've never traded perpetuals, spending a day there before touching real margin is cheap insurance. It's under the trading view, toggled between "Real" and "Demo".

Troubleshooting

Verification email not arriving. In order: check spam, promotions and "other" tabs; wait two full minutes (some providers greylist first-time senders); click Resend once. If you resend repeatedly, later codes invalidate earlier ones and you'll end up entering a dead code. If still nothing after ten minutes, the provider is probably rejecting BingX's mail domain. Register with a different address rather than fighting the filter.

SMS code not arriving. Confirm the country code is right and that the number can receive international SMS (some prepaid plans block it). Switch to email signup if it fails twice.

"Registration not available in your region". BingX has detected an IP in a restricted jurisdiction. If you're travelling and your home country is supported, wait until you're back on a home connection or a mobile network. If you actually live in a restricted country, the block is deliberate and KYC will enforce it anyway.

Referral field missing or greyed out. Usually a caching issue. Open the invite link in a private/incognito window, or in a different browser. If the field is genuinely absent, the account creation was already started with that email in a previous attempt; use a fresh email.

Referral shows "not bound" after signup. The code didn't register. This cannot be corrected on the existing account. If you have deposited nothing and don't mind starting over, create a new account with a different email and phone and enter the code carefully; then don't use the old account, since running multiple accounts breaches the terms.

Email already registered. You (or someone using your address) already created an account. Use Forgot password to recover it. If it wasn't you, recover it, change the password, enable 2FA, and check the withdrawal history.

App won't install / not in the store. Region restrictions on the Google Play listing are common in a few countries that BingX does serve. The signed APK from bingx.com is the fallback; the app download guide explains how to verify it's genuine.

2FA code rejected. The clock on your phone is out of sync. Most authenticator apps have a "time correction" setting; otherwise set the phone's time to automatic. Codes are only valid for 30 seconds, so type quickly.

Who this is not for

If you're in the USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China or a sanctioned country, BingX will not serve you, and the registration steps above will end at KYC even if they appear to work.
